Michael G. Zivich has been involved in the telecommunications industry for 35 years, holding staff and management positions in Fortune 500 companies involved in the financial, manufacturing, retail/catalog and transportation industries. His experience includes projects involving telecommunications systems, voice/data networking carrier contract negotiation, video teleconferencing, satellite, wireless, incoming call centers and distribution centers. Mr. Zivich has been associated with the International Communications Association (ICA) and the National Retail Federation's Telecommunication Committee, as well as other user organizations and groups. He received the ICA's Golden Quill Award in 1989 for his article on the Ameritech (Illinois Bell) Hinsdale central office disaster and served as a Director and Program Chairman for the ETN (Electronic Tandem Network) Users Group. He received his BBA degree from Cleveland State University and served in the United States Air Force as a Communications Officer. Mr. Zivich heads the Cleveland, Ohio branch office of Ballou Consultants. |
